MergeIt
Best for: Stores that want merging to run unattended without breaking sales and tax reports.
Why choose it
- Automatic merging is on the entry plan, not three tiers up. The $14.99 Starter includes 50 merges and automatic rules.
- The delay timer waits a number of minutes you choose after the customer's last order, and resets when another order arrives. Post-purchase upsells land inside the same merge.
- Safeguards run before every merge: require a shipping address, require the same shipping address, block fully fulfilled orders, and exclude orders by tag.
When not to choose it
- There is no free plan. If you merge two orders a month, a free app is the rational choice and we will not pretend otherwise.
- It merges orders. It does not give shoppers a portal to edit or cancel their own orders, so it will not reduce your support tickets on its own.
Setup notes
- Install, then set the merge destination. Real order in test mode keeps financial reports clean and is the recommended default.
- Choose what happens to the originals: archive, cancel, or leave them. Archive is reversible, cancel is not.
- Turn on automatic merging with a delay, or leave it off and work from the suggestions list until you trust the matching.
- Pricing
- $14.99 for 50 merges, then $0.35 each. Higher tiers at $39.99, $89.99, and $179.99 drop the per-merge rate to $0.12. Seven-day free trial, no free plan.
- Example
- A skincare store gets a second order from the same customer within an hour on about 8% of days. With a 90-minute delay and same-address safeguard on, the pair merges before the warehouse picks either one, and the picker sees one order.
